Seventeen College Beauty Blogger: Easy Valentine's Day Makeup Tutorial Anyone Can Do

One of my favorite makeup trends over the past few months has been berry-colored lips.  After finding the perfect shade of berry lipstick for your skin tone, pulling an entire makeup look together is simple.  To keep the main focus on the lips, use natural shadows and colors on your eyes.  Try out this easy makeup tutorial for a look that will def wow your crush on Valentine's Day but works just as well for an amped-up everyday look too.
1. After priming your eyelids (so your shadows stay on),  apply a natural rose gold shade to your entire lids.
2. Add a dark green shadow to the outer corners of your eyes.
3. Blend the shadows together and into the crease of your eye.
4. Using a dark brown pencil or gel eyeliner, line the top of your lids.  A brown eyeliner appears much more subtle and natural than a true black shade.
5. Coat your lashes with your favorite mascara.
6. Finally, apply the berry-colored lipstick.  I applied a few light coats of MAC's "Rebel" cream plum lipstick for this tutorial.

Cozy & Cute Outfit Idea

Happy New Year everybody! I'm excited to be back to blogging.  I'm usually not a fan of unrealistic New Years resolutions, but I am being positive and hoping in 2016 I will be able to bring much more content to my readers.
So, here is my first post of 2016! Who doesn't love a good cozy JCrew sweater (with bonus leather elbow patches).  I decided to pair the sweater with a navy skirt, also from JCrew.  I paired the skirt with a pair of brown leather boots and some fun boot socks.  For accessories, I kept it simple with a bold gold watch and a leather cross-body bag from Fossil.
