A Spring Statement for Every Occasion

Hurray! Today is the first day of spring, finally. It's now time to break out those colorful pieces that sit in the back of your closet all winter just waiting to come out.  All winter I know I stare at my spring and summer clothes wanting to wear them.
This Spring statement necklaces continue to be all the rage and will be so perfect for this transition in warm weather.  Fashionable statement jewelry is a great and easy way to make it look like you but a little more time and effort into an outfit.  Below is one of my favorite styles of statement necklaces, the J.Crew "Bubble Necklace".  The pop of pink against this white tank top is so adorable.  Colored blazers are also so great for spring because they will keep you warm while still looking put together and polished.
Still got the winter blues? Well have no fear, bring your blued toned clothing right into spring.  I love this layered statement necklace, especially against this indigo top.  The pop of gold against the blue is so chic.  I love the way the small dainty circle necklace is layered in with the chunky, fabulous statement piece.  This gorgeous necklace was purchased at Francesca's.

For a more mature, preppy style you can rock pearls and diamonds right into the spring time.  This gorgeous statement necklace was purchased from J.Crew around Christmas time.  However, this Christmas gift can be worn year round with the right outfits.  Again, I love the layered look with the gold monogram and the bold chunky statement necklace.
If you can't tell statement necklaces are my OBSESSION. I love blogging about them and discovering new favorites. Help me fuel my shopping addiction by leaving a comment below telling me where you love to buy your statement necklaces!

So I've been slightly obsessed with one of my best friends watches from Kate Spade.  This gorgeous gold watch is the perfect size and is ideal for any season.  You can stack different bracelets with this watch or keep it simple.  I know everyone looks at their smartphone to check the time but watches like this are so classic!
You can get awesome deals at the Kate Spade outlet shops.  They almost always have 25-50% of of the merchandise so keep your eyes out for a great sale.

Monday Spotlight: Kate Hudson at the 2014 Oscars

Okay so I may be playing favorites because the beautiful Kate Hudson has been my favorite actress since she played the hilarious Andie in "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" alongside last nights best actor winnter Matthew McConaughey.  However, Kate looked absolutely stunning at the Oscar red carpet last night. She was decked out in an Atelier Versace dress, Jimmy Choo shoes, a Versaceclutch and Neil Lane jewels.

Hudson's low cut gown was so gorgeous and had fabulous beading all over the shoulders and down the top section of her gown. She kept her hair simple with loose curls and for makeup she rocked a smokey eye.  Hudson nailed it over the head this year with this flawless put together!
